Meeting my buddy, Paul for a beer. I haven’t seen him in some time. It will be good to see him.
I haven’t been here since I was at my last job. That was over two years ago. It seems that I have been in the Austin area forever when I think of things like that. Last time I was here was with Schultze and other friends to play some pool. The place was packed. I hope it will not be like that tonight. I don’t care for crowds.

It’s been some time since I have been to the mall. Tomorrow is my wife’s birthday and I have waited as long as I can for her to suggest something. I ventured out on my own and picked up nice things.

As I don’t frequent the mall that often, it seems that the kiosk people have become more aggressive. They jump out of their little shells and attack the women passing by. A few of them with products applicable to men jumped out at me but not that many.

Is this a new thing? Have I been missing this my entire life? I have never noticed them on the offensive. I usually just see the person chewing bubble gum and texting on their phone. There seems to be a new league of “go-getters”.

That was my lunch break. A hectic time at the mall. I did get to eat at my favorite Japanese place though. That made up for it. I did manage to refrain from visiting the Apple store. Whew!

I dropped off her perscription at HEB. I picked up some chicken noodle soup for her. I am now at Whataburger getting a burger. I will then head back to HEB and fill our five Gallon water jug and pick up the perscription.

She is feeling really sick. She puked again and it looks like coke. We are waiting to show it to the nurse.

Man, Tammy is the queen of nausea this morning. She was doing better but got up to pee. Afterwards, she was sick again. They gave her another dose of Zofran. They are also going to give her a perscription of it.

We are still here. She is on her second liter of fluid. She is finally getting some sleep. It is getting colder in here. She is cold with two blankets and a jacket. I am healthy but I cannot feel my toes anymore (flip flops).
I’m getting super hungry and I could use a tall cup of coffee. I’ll worry about all of that when Tammy gets back in bed at home.
She has a pretty mean snore going on right now!

For the record: it took exactly 15 minutes to get to the hospital at 06:00. My speed was about 77-80MPH.

They took 4 vials of blood. The hooked her up to an IV. She will get two liters today to hydrate her. They gave her Zofran for the nausea.
She is just resting now. She said that the fluid was cold going in and it was making her cold. There is a little bit of blood in her vomit and spit. I guess her esophagus is a bit tired of all of the vomit.

We decided to come to the ER. I read briefly on the Internet about food poisoning and pregnancy. From a quick read, it is a different animal. So, we packed up and came to the ER.

I just got off of the phone with the on-call doctor.
Tammy just woke me up and told me that she has been vomiting since 02:00.
The doctor didn’t seem too stressed about it and said that we can wait for the office to open but we can go to the emergency room if we want.
She just got up to go vomit again.
It might be food poisoning from dinner. We ate at Logans in San Marcos. She hadrhe meatloaf/mushrooms/sidesalad with peppercorn ranch.
It might be from lunch. We had Culvers. She had a pork sandwitch with mayonayse and pickles. She had cheese curds with that and some fries. I ate curds too and I feel fine.

On the 6/29/2008, Tammy and I were lucky enough to get another ULTRASOUND! She is 15 weeks, 3 days pregnant in the video. My sister hooked us up. She works at a hospital and got us a run on the machine. An ultrasound technician did it for us a little bit and then let us use the machine OURSELVES! Is that cool or what? Total video time is 30 minutes so it is divided in 4 parts. My cell phone made some noise in the videos - sorry ’bout that. For me, there are some really amazing moments in the video!

Brandon is playing his favorite game at Dave ad Busters. It is the snowmobile game. It blows a fan in your face to simulate the rushing air you would feel. His hair went crazy on that thing!
